Have you ever looked up one question about your child and closed your phone with five new worries? When you are responsible for someone you love, even an ordinary decision can feel enormous. Ask Dr. Tega is a place to make sense of the questions that come with raising healthy kids.
What this show is for
- Understanding what is happening with your child.
- Recognizing what deserves attention.
- Feeling better prepared for your next conversation with your child's clinician.
What we'll cover first
- Everyday questions: what to do about a fever, why eating has become a battle, and why bedtime takes longer than the rest of the evening.
- Going deeper: how the immune system learns, what vaccines can prevent, and how to tell whether a new health headline applies to your child.
You don't need the perfect question
"It doesn't seem like my child" is a useful observation. So is "I don't understand why we're doing this." You know your child's everyday patterns; a clinician brings medical training and an examination. Both matter.
